Also during the year (2007), we are commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the Abolition of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
It is on the premise of these two (2) events that the quiz has been planned.
Questions will focus on:
- History
- Government/Politics
- Culture and Heritage
- Outstanding Grenadian Personalities
The quiz will be conducted at (2) levels;
- The District Level
- The National Level
The two most outstanding students from each district will participate in the National Post Independence Quiz. This will take place on Thursday 29th March, 2007 at the Grenada Boy’s Secondary School (GBSS) Auditorium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Trophies and other significant prizes will be awarded to the winning schools and the district.
