During these discussions the Prime Minister communicated to the New York group his desire to assist students who are studying abroad even further. Prime Minister Mitchell and the committee members agreed that additional assistance is sometimes required for students as they sometimes encounter situations where they need additional resources.
The members of the Committee embraced the idea as another effort to assist Grenadian students who meet with difficulties abroad, while attempting to achieve higher education. The Committee stated “The passion which the Prime Minister of Grenada displays for the education of the young people in Grenada must be shared.”
Details of the scope of the activities will be unveiled at the launching in April 2007.
