Six Grenadian students recognised at MSU for outstanding scholarly acheivement
Six Grenadian students at Midwestern State University were recognized for their outstanding scholarly achievements and received induction into Alpha Chi, the honor society for underclassmen. The Grenadian Students were among the 32 inductees from the entire university. Nine other Caribbean students were also inducted.
The inductees, in the ceremony concluding the fall semester, were Nefer McIntyre, Debbie Neckles, Nichole Phillip, Donell Thomas, Kinda Williams, and Tiera Williams. Most of these students are scheduled to graduate by August 2007.
Grenadian students comprise over 20% of the entire class of students honored. Twenty more Grenadian students will enroll at <Midwestern in August 29007. The Government of Grenada supports the cooperative program with the university.
