TAMCC Signs Memorandum Of Understanding
Wednesday 5th September, 2007- St. George’s: The T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) will on Wednesday September 5th, 2007 sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Office of Chinese Language Council International.
This MOU will facilitate the provision of a lecturer in the Chinese language to the College.
Already the Chinese Language Council International has identified Ms. Fu Xinqing a senior lecturer at the Nanchang University in China as the person to serve at TAMCC for an initial period of Two (2) years.
Ms. Fu holds a Master’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature and has been a lecturer since 2000; teaching courses on basic and intermediate Chinese Language and Literature and modern Chinese Language.
She has also done a number of research and publications on Chinese Language and Literature.
Ms. Fu will join the newly established Department of Modern Languages in the School of Arts, Science and Professional Studies at the College.
Costs for Ms. Fu’s international travel and salary will be met by the Chinese Language Council International while the College will be responsible for her accommodation and insurance, and it is expected that she will join TAMCC’s Modern Language Department by end of September.
