Government Reassures Parents and Guardians of Students studying in Mexico

August 21st 2007, St. George’s: The Government of Grenada would like to reassure parents and guardians of students studying in Mexico that Government officials have been in contact with students to ensure that they are in a safe and secure environment.

Ambassador Denis Antoine has been tracking the progress of Hurricane Dean and has been in regular contact with the students and will continue to stay in contact with them via telephone and email in the different areas where they are undertaking their studies.  Speaking this afternoon, from his Washington Office, Ambassador Antoine said, “the safety of our students is of top priority and I would like to assure parents and guardians that we are doing everything possible to keep our students safe.”
