COLLABORATIVE CAMPS FOR STUDENTS WHO DISPLAY RISKY BEHAVIOURS
St. George’s Grenada, MOEPRU, Monday October 19th 2009 – The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development is collaborating with the Grenada National Commission for UNESCO to hold a series of camps for Secondary School students who are at risk for behaviors that make them vulnerable.
The main object of the camp is to provide the students with the life skills necessary to enable them to make positive changes in their lives.
The camps will be held at the School for the Deaf, Perdmontemps, St. George as follows:
• Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th October, 2009
• Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st November, 2009
• Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th December, 2009
• Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd January, 2010
• Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th February, 2010
The Ministry has endorsed these camps and is encouraging principals to allow students to participate fully.
