Grenada is an island nation in the southeastern Caribbean Sea (12 degrees N, 61 degrees W) including the southern Grenadines. Grenada is the second-smallest independent country in the Western Hemisphere (after Saint Kitts and Nevis).
It is located north of Trinidad and Tobago, and south of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Monday 5th May, 2008: The Ministry of Education wishes to inform all registered prospective trainees who completed the soft skills programme that during the week of May 5TH – 9th, the programme will recommence with the training of all facilitators. Trainees will be informed on Thursday May 8th and Friday May 9th of all the training courses that will begin on May 13th and at which centres. Please note that training in all computer programmes will begin in the month of June due to CXC exams at the Secondary Schools during the month of May.

Thursday 8th May, 2008- St. George’s: The National Common Entrance Examination is scheduled to take place on Friday May 9th 2008. A total of two thousand eight hundred and four (2,804) students are registered for the examination, these include 1,547 males and 1,257 females. The examination begins at 8:30am and will be conducted in 52 centres throughout Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Wednesday, April 30, 2008, St. George’s: Due to the recent incidences of theft at the District Revenue Office (DRO) in St. Patrick’s and at the Magistracy in Grenville St. Andrew’s, the Government of Grenada, through the Ministry of Finance , has reviewed the security arrangements at all DROs and other Government Cash Collection offices and have made several changes.

Thursday 30th April, 2008- St. George’s: A special assembly was held on Friday 18th April 2008 by the Principal and Staff of the St. Rose Modern Secondary School to accept a very generous gift of 30 fully working and high specification computers, donated by Highgate Wood School (HWS) in London, England. The computers are estimated at a total cost of over EC $70,000.
